Managing the business, alongside owner Ian Stewart, is motorcycle breaking guru Carl Morley, probably the most experienced motorcycle breaking expert in the country, who has worked for Colchester Breakers for over 25 years as well as Ian's son Greg Stewart. Large orders are sent with APC or DHL. Dispatch times vary depending on demand and seasonal fluctuations in orders.

We have a full environmental permit as an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) for End of Life Vehicles (ELV). This means we have been authorised by the Environment Agency to dismantle vehicles including Cat B write-offs.

If you wish to cancel an order or return a part please follow this procedure: Get in contact with us. Put the whole item and anything included with it back in a package. Please include a note with your name, address, contact number and a brief explanation of why you are returning the item.Put the following address clearly visible on the box: Colchester Breakers Ltd, Breakers Unit, King Edward Quay, The Hythe, Colchester, Essex, CO2 8JB Arrange the return with a courier of your choice. It is usually best to use a record/tracked service. It cannot be modified, tampered with, damaged or repairs attempted. -The engine is too low on compression to run. What it doesn't cover: -Snapped exhaust studs, bolts or cracked covers. Accidental damage as a result of fitting the engine or otherwise. Any faults occurring as a result of fitting the engine. Repair costs or fitting costs. Return costs if the engine was collected by customer. Conditions: -The engine must not be stripped, modified or repaired unless we have explicitly stated to do so. Evidence of any issues must first be sent to us by images or videos.
