Yamaha XS850 1980-1981 Hitachi carbs carburettors, ultrasonically cleaned

  
I was going to use these on my XS850 project but in the end went for a different set of carbs. So most of the hard work has been done on these. All the slides are free, all the chokes are free and working, all the diaphragms are good and working. As far as I can see all internal passageways are clear. The top gaskets are in good condition and don't need replacing. All screws and fasteners have already been removed once so none are seized.

They have been completely stripped and separated and run through an ultrasonic cleaner twice. What needs doing, replace float bowl gaskets and do float height.

The jets have had previous owners damage them externally but internally they are clear(you could replace them from a kit). Also I noticed a couple of the mesh filters are damaged in the fuel feed for the floats. Available from Fowlers or just run without them. The carbs do look a bit scruffy on the outside but that's simply because I haven't finished them.
